Karen Post

Get to know the team.

Karen Post is president and chief creative of Home Frosting. Since forming the company she’s earned a solid reputation as a creative, “can do” designer who transforms spaces into delicious home and office experiences.

A good listener, with a forever curious mind, and explorers of all possibilities, Karen finds the right balance and mix of color, form, function, story and emotion in her design projects. Her business acumen, leadership and world adventures add to the value she provides clients.

A visionary and master problem solver, Karen starts everything she touches, with a simple question, “what is the end goal?”. This way of thinking keeps projects on schedule, on budget and everyone focused the desired results.

A sought-after talent and tastemaker, Karen is an HGTV designer, a regular home décor expert on Daytime, a nationally syndicated TV show, and a broadcast and content contributor to National Association of Realtors. Her insight has been featured in many international news media including: The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, CNN, Bloomberg and FOX, along with many regional venues.

Her inspiration comes from getting to know her clients and their unique needs. She’s stays abreast of the latest trends, technologies and resources by attending top furniture markets and being connected to the world.

Karen’s career started in Texas where she studied fashion and worked with top luxury brands as a visual merchandiser. Later, she became an international branding expert, addressing audiences around the globe on visual perception, presentation. She is also twice-published business author of Brain Tattoos and Brand Turnaround.

Lyndsey Fisher

Lyndsey Fisher – leadership associate, partner
Lyndsey joined Home Frosting in 2017 as the company’s first Associate in our LEAD (leadership, entrepreneur and achievement development) program. After completion of the year-long program, Lyndsey is currently a shareholder managing team projects and serving on our leadership board.

Involved with all aspects of the organization from interior design, customer service, marketing and operations, Lyndsey leads and manages the design and expert resource teams at Home Frosting.

Always close to the cutting edge of interior design and style trends Lyndsey hails from North Carolina, home of the High Point Furniture Market, one of the largest design and furniture centers in the world.

She started her career working for a consumer trend spotting company in New York City. Later she worked in High Point, North Carolina where she was part of a product development team for a national textile brand. Before planting her roots in Tampa, she worked at a leading women’s apparel showroom in Atlanta, Georgia.

Lyndsey earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in visual merchandising and consumer studies. She loves bringing her global insight to design, fashion, and textiles to every project she contributes to and the company undertakes.

Mary McKell

Mary McKell – senior designer
Mary is Home Frosting’s “savant” of everything home design and decor.

As a senior designer, she is an expert in custom draperies and fine upholstery, bespoke antiques, period furniture and signature decorative art. Clients love her depth of design knowledge and her astute eye for style that shines on every project she leads.

Born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, Mary’s passion for beautiful esthetics in the home and office, first blossomed after a 20-year career in software development and project management in New York City. The transition into a full-time mom and volunteer presented new experiences and travels and gave her the time needed to focus on creating her dream home. Soon after she knew, designing and curating home interiors was her true calling.

Since 2010, Mary has been immersed in the world home design and decorating. Recruited by a national textile company, she is skilled in fabric selection, technology, and application. She has also restored and renovated historic Florida properties and has worked with both homeowners and businesses to re design and add personalized intention and soul to their environments.

A fanatic of “modern mix” Mary loves blending treasured antiques with mid-century and contemporary pieces, family heirlooms or other sentimental elements to master a thoughtful, layered, timeless look.

When Mary is not working, you might catch her at a bustling estate auction, an off the beat gallery or at her favorite bistro, sipping Cuban coffee.

Lori Schumacher – chief operating officer, and director of eCommerce
Lori leads the Home Frosting eCommerce marketplace (coming soon), affiliate partnerships and all online initiatives for the Home Frosting brand. 

Globe-trotting is an understatement for Lori’s wealth of world perspective she brings to the company. A natural winner, she has been a competitive athlete her entire life. Mastering track, tennis and golf, in 2020 she earned her first hole in one at Scioto Country Club in Columbus, Ohio.

Packing the perfect blend of business, leadership with an infinity for home fashion and luxury, Lori is a key superpower for Home Frosting.

Her daily role includes: analyzing current market trends and data, identifying strategies for business planning and growth, product procurement, and insuring our customers have an amazing online experience.

Based in Columbus, Ohio, Lori is a proud Ohio State Buckeye fan, having earned her bachelor’s degree in business there. Before joining the Home Frosting team, she was a bank marketing executive, an active community volunteer and philanthropist. 

When Lori is not championing the Home Frosting brand, you will find her enjoying life with her husband Rick, their grown children, Jason and Nicole, and Cody & Lucy,  their dogs.

Cathy Jury, human resources and accounting director
Cathy works from North Texas and manages all accounting and HR for Home Frosting with the company of some horses, cows and chickens. With over 20 years of office experience working with small to mid size businesses, Cathy never has a boring day. She oversees setting up new trade accounts, billing matters, new team member on-boarding, payroll, benefits, contract relationships and everything pre CPA.

Candace Lingerfelt -associate
Candace has never met a challenge too big to solve. Contributing to the Home Frosting team in all departments, from home staging to marketing and project logistics, she adds a can-do energy and business organization mindset to the client experience.

Completing her Business Management degree at the University of South Florida, Candace brings a wealth of skills from technology solutions, best practices from top companies around the globe and a focus on stellar customer service.

This summer, Candace traveled abroad to Europe on a work study program. There she interfaced with businesses owners, community leaders and government officials. Along with the business insight, the journey exposed her to diverse cultures and historic and modern design and architecture.

In her free time, Candace loves the outdoors, spending time with her four-legged friends, doing community service and being involved with with her Business Fraternity of Delta Sigma Pi.

Eric Dorety – logistics manager
After working with top national furniture brands for over twenty years, Eric manages Home Frosting’s design studio facility, fleet of trucks, project logistics and all craftsman services.

A master problem solver and skilled home improvement expert, Eric’s always calm demeanor and extensive home furnishing experience is great asset to our customer experience team.

Whether working with the Home Frosting in-house professionals or outside specialist partners, he ensures all project details are delivered on time, run smoothly and are accident free.

Lincoln Vogt
Lincoln is an important member of the Home Frosting team. He too loves luxury items and fine food. When he’s not chasing squirrels or napping, he is working hard on earning his masters in good behavior. No matter what, he can always be counted on to remind the team that life and work should always be fun.
